From Two Companies to One Team
Tier 1 Contracting was built on years of hands-on experience in construction. Early exposure to the trade came from working alongside family, learning the importance of quality workmanship, responsibility, and doing things the right way. After serving in the military, that same discipline and attention to detail carried back into residential and agricultural construction work.
The business originally operated through two focused companies. Blue Cord Construction provided residential and agricultural construction and renovation services, while Tier 1 Surface Prep specialized in mobile sandblasting and surface preparation. Over time, long-term customers began requesting both construction and preparation services under one roof.
In response, those capabilities were unified into a single company—bringing structure, surface prep, and hands-on experience together under Tier 1 Contracting.
Today, Tier 1 Contracting delivers mobile sandblasting, targeted renovations, and specialty construction projects—backed by the same commitment to quality, communication, and accountability that has defined the company from the start.
